I just wanted to thank you, on behalf of us all, for all your help before Thursday, and especially for conducting the Service so beautifully and sympathetically.
Having never met Mummy before, we all felt that you completely understood the person that she was, and this helped us all enormously on the day, it really was a super Service and she would have been very pleased and content.
Although we were so few in the West Chapel, it felt right, and we all came away feeling uplifted rather than incredibly sad. Thank you so so much.

Dear Geoff
I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful service you did for my mother's cremation yesterday. Everyone has remarked on what a beautiful service if was. Thank you for getting her character in a nutshell! I would imagine it must be hard to get laughter in those situations, but it was there yesterday.

Dear Geoff,
I know my mother has just written to you but I wanted to say my own thank you also. You were absolutely exceptional at just understanding how my mother wanted to say goodbye to Richard. You picked up so quickly by just a few words with my children, Fergus and Flora the kind of person Richard was and his likes, incorporating this into your service effortlessly. Thank you for your support of Fergus and Flora ! Your quotes and words were just perfect and you made us all feel as though you had also known Richard personally.
I can not thank you enough for making Richard's cremation such a memorable, some how joyful and perfect way to say goodbye. It was exactly how my mother wanted it to be.

Dear Rev Geoff
I would like to thank you for organising exactly the sort of service I wanted for Richard’s funeral. You obviously listened to what was said about him but realised so many memories had been blurred by time. The service really reminded me of the man.
The Putney hospital is very lucky to have you and also the patients. I feel very contented. Many people mentioned your flair for understanding what was said about Richard.
I wish you well , you are a special person I was lucky to meet . My daughter agrees.

Geoff was a tower of strength with his well thought out words and kind actions.
We as a family were very pleased with the service that he delivered . From the moment ihe introduced himself even before the service started he sought out to comfort mum which i though was very touching., and this continued untill he delivered the committal at the graveside, he showed us nothing but total care, compassion and empathy through out the whole day.
It was truly an amazing send off for Dana so thank you once again.

Dear Geoff
I am struggling to express how much I value your involvement and support in orchestrating the tribute for my dad.
You are amazing.
You were able to express exactly how we all felt and honour him most appropriately.
You spent time ensuring you understood what he meant to us all. You spent time collating all the reflections and delivering the most beautiful tribute.
I experienced you as a person with a wonderful presence and depth of understanding not often offered.
Your ‘aura’ is comforting, calming, experienced and supportive- who could ask for more!
The feedback I have received from family and friends is that you were able to talk about my dad as if you knew him.
They also stated that my dad’s funeral was the best they had ever experienced.
Again I find myself struggling to express how grateful I am to you. You brought a great ‘light’ to a very dark time.

Geoff was a great celebrant for my sister in law on 2nd June 2023. He was sensitive in his conversations with relatives before the funeral, and wrote a moving eulogy that reflected the character of our relative very well. He conducted the funeral brilliantly and all attending appreciated the service he put together. Would strongly recommend Geoff as a celebrant.
